Risk Factors and Diagnosis of Bowel Cancer

Bowel cancer is often curable if it is diagnosed early. Up to 75 per cent of bowel cancer cases could be prevented with diet and exercise. A protective diet is made up of high vegetable intake and low fat, low kilojoule, high fibre foods. Other protective factors include regular exercise and limited alcohol consumption.
