Ovarian cancer is a malignant tumour in one or both ovaries. There are four main types of ovarian cancer, named after the part of the ovary that is affected. Treatment depends on the type of ovarian cancer.
Support for women with ovarian cancer is provided by the National Breast Cancer Centre [National Breast Cancer Centre (NBCC)] through its Ovarian Cancer Program.
