Gastro-Oesophageal Reflux Disease (GORD)
Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD) refers to reflux of the gastric contents into the oesophagus, leading to oesophagitis. These reflux symptoms are sufficient to greatly impair quality of life and can have long-term complications if not treated.
